For Olo and NCR Aloha integrations, we will sync the Open Hours directly. The existing Day Parts in the Bite Admin Portal determine which menu should be displaying on the kiosk/contactless. Open Hours determine whether a kiosk/contactless solution should be on or "off". (In the "off" state, kiosks will display a closed screen copy overlayed on top of the menu, instead of being completely powered off.) If there are Day Parts that fall outside of the Open Hours, the kiosk/contactless solution would be in the "off" state and guest would not be allowed to place orders. If future ordering is enabled, kiosks/contactless would still remain open (turned on) and be able to take orders for a future time slot.
For Olo*
Bite will sync all available handoff modes and their open hours from Olo.
Bite will also sync open hours overrides. This means that if an override is created in Olo, there is no need to adjust the day part in Bite Admin Portal or manually turn the kiosks on and off.
*Please note that the location must be using Vendor Export syncing method to be able to sync the open hours and overrides from Olo.
For NCR Aloha
Bite will sync open hours for the location for NCR Radiant and Aloha integrations.
