Setting up an Elo in EloView MDM

Step 1: Add Device 

• Login to ELOview and navigate to the "Devices" Tab. 
• Select "Add Device"

• Enter the name of the device in the "Name" field and the device Serial Number in the "Serial Number field. Device Mode should be "Control". Select "Save" 
  • ** Make sure the name of the device matches how you name it in Bite Admin ** 

Step 2: Load Content on Device 

Install Bite. In ELOview, make sure to drag and drop the latest Bite software onto the device. Go to the "Contents Tab". 

FIRST TIME KIOSK: Drag the bundle with webview to the kiosk.

Drag and drop our latest version onto the selected device: 

Do NOT drop into the top right corner.

 

Step 3: Disable Home

Once the device is added and online, go to the settings tab and the edit button on the top right.

Ensure Android Home is disabled

Apply the settings to save it.

Step 4: Adding to Bite Admin

Login to admin, and add the kiosk to the appropriate brand

Issues:

1) ELO Firmware isn't up to date. Update the device and try again

Make sure to not update the software version to 6.000.000.000 (Android 12) since bite don't support this software.

How to make sure to update the correct version: 

Click on the configuration settings. 

Make sure that the last version isn't 6.000.000.0000
