Symptom:
Terminal is unable to connect to the kiosk, however available in the drop down list.
To restart the payment device:
Press the Yellow and # key at the same time. The terminal should beep and restart itself.
To restart the kiosk:
Contact bite to restart.
Resolutions:
If the device says "unbolted" (for CardConnect terminals only) that means that the device is not connected to the internet. Some key factors:
- Try restarting both the kiosk and the payment device.
- Network has a limit on number of devices to which it can assign IPs. Operator must change network settings on router/modem. Typically this happens for DHCP limits.
- Dead switch, ethernet port, or cable. Try plugging the device directly into the modem/router, or swapping cables.
