Kiosk Display Appears Too Large / Wrong DPI Error

If the kiosk displays the message below

Or if the screen appears zoomed in and elements look too large, the device’s screen density (DPI) setting may be configured incorrectly.

Follow the steps below to update the screen density to the correct setting

1. Open the Touchscreen Control Panel

1. Locate the two buttons on the back corner of the touchscreen.
2. Press both buttons at the same time.
3. When prompted, enter one of the following passwords:
   • 1elo
   • Bite
   • bite

 

2. Go to Display

Select Display.

 

3. Open Advanced

Scroll down and select Advanced.

4. Select Screen density

Scroll down and tap Screen density.

5.Change it to 160 MDPI

Select 160 MDPI.

6.Reboot the Device

Tap Reboot Now to apply the change.
