How to enable/disable Elo device screen saver or screen timeout.
Sometimes an Elo device will be shipped to a customer with some device settings that can't be controlled remotely via EloView, and instead need to be adjusted by accessing the device's Control Panel. If you find that one of the Kiosks is changing from the Bite Menu Cover to a black screen or "screensaver" when there is no activity on the device, you can adjust this by following the steps below.
Note: The steps and screenshots below were derived from an i3 Elo device. Other devices should be similar, though there could be some deviations in the steps below, depending on device model.
1: Press the two buttons on the back of the Elo device, enter device control panel password
- If Bite software isn't loaded on the device, then the password should be
2: On the navigation bar (on the bottom of the screen) Navigate to Apps.
3: Open the Settings App
4: From within the Settings App, navigate to Display
5: From within the Display settings, tap on the "Advanced" dropdown.
