Build your own assorted box menu item feature

To set up an item as a build your own assorted box menu item, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the desired build your own assorted box menu item in the Bite Admin Portal

2. Scroll to locate the Base Image for Build Your Own Assorted Box Item field and click on the +

3. Load in the desired base image in 1200 x 800 px

4. Click Update

5. Click on Price Options to open up the modifier groups for the menu item

6. Click on the modifier group that contains the modifier selections needed to create an assorted box

7. Add an image to all of the available modifiers available as a selection by clicking on the modifier, Open Mod, and then uploading the image with a transparent background  in the Images field, then clicking Update

After the steps above are set up, Bite will automatically select the modifier group that fits the requirements as the selections modifier group for a build your own assorted box item. (The requirements are the following: 1) modifier group has a minimum selection requirement of >1 AND 2) has a max selection requirement.) Bite will look at maximum aggregate quantity field to figure out if the item should be a box of 4, 6, or 12.

Please note that currently, only a box of 4, 6, and 12 items are supported. Support for 3 and 8 items will be added in the near future. This feature is available on GCN builds greater than 2.2.24
