Reference guide for most common scanner issues when using the ELO Honeywell scanner. Warning: Be extremely careful which barcode you use to present to the scanner for reset. You could end up bricking the scanner if not careful!

Restore Scanner to Default Settings

If you want to restore the scanner's default settings (useful for troubleshooting sometimes), scan the Presentation Mode barcode (found in the reference guide pg. 10)

Light stays on:

If the scanner light stays on after setting up the kiosk, scan the illumination barcode (found in the reference guide pg. 10, barcode 2).

Difficulty reading mobile phones:

If the scanner doesn't detect mobile phones well, scan the mobile phone support barcode (reference guide pg. 13
