Static IP on ELO Devices

Synopsis:

To set up an ELO device onto static IP.

Step 1:

Access the control panel

1. Press the two buttons at the bottom right underside of the terminal screen together
2. A control panel screen will appear asking for the password to the device 
3. At the bottom of the screen, select 'Network' and then choose the LAN tab to view the connection.

Configure Static IP

To setup a static IP on the Ethernet connection, use the following steps: 

1. Press the two buttons at the bottom right underside of the terminal screen simultaneously (or hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds).
2. A control panel screen will appear asking for the password to the device.
3. Select 'Apps' at the bottom of the screen and then 'Settings.'
4. Choose 'Ethernet Configuration' and then Ethernet Configuration' again.
5. Tap Static IP and enter the IP Address, Netmask, and Gateway Address.

Disable WiFi

If the device is using Ethernet/LAN only, we recommend disabling the WiFi to avoid network conflicts.

1. Press the two buttons at the bottom right underside of the terminal screen simultaneously (or hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds).
2. A control panel screen will appear asking for the password to the device.
3. Select 'Apps' at the bottom of the screen and then 'Settings.'
4. Toggle the WiFi from 'On' (blue) to 'Off' (gray) to disable.
