To enable coupons to work for Bite solutions, customer must configure the coupons in a specific way outline as below:
- Sign into the Brink Admin Portal
- Go to the Brink Settings Editor
- Go to Promotions
- Create a new Promotion
- Name of promotions must follow the pattern "Coupon Name (COUPONCODE)"
- where Coupon Name is the name of the coupon. Example: "$1 off desserts"
- where COUPONCODE is the promo code (alphanumeric, no spaces). Example: ONEOFF
- Note the round brackets. This is used on the Bite side to read the promo code.
- Promotion Type must be set to Coupon
- Under the Codes Tab
- Check Code Is Required
- For Manual Code, enter the same value as the COUPONCODE in the previous step. Example: ONEOFF
- Set up the rest of the promotion as you would normally
- Name of promotions must follow the pattern "Coupon Name (COUPONCODE)"
- Save and Publish when ready
