How to process refunds in Bite Admin vs the Kiosks
We can do two types of Refunds in Bite Admin. A full Refund or a Partial Refund.
And a full Refund on the Kiosk.
Kiosk Refund
Full Refund
- Double-tap the top center of the kiosk screen
- Enter your passcode (provided with your Bite Admin Portal login credentials)
- Tap the "Refunds and Reports" button
- Search for orders using the "Search Orders" field by entering one of the following:
- Authorization number from receipt
- Order number
- Last four digits of the card
- Reference number
- Enter the refund amount
- Tap the "REFUND" button

Bite Admin:
On the Bite Admin Portal:
- Click on the "Orders" tab
- Search for an order using the "Search Orders" field by entering one of these: authorization number from receipt, order number, last four digits of the card, or reference number
- Once you find the order, click View Transactions > Request Refund
- Enter the refund amount
- Click "OK"
Limited Debit Refunds
Please note that debit refunds are not supported for WorldPay and FreedomPay Canada due to system limitations. As a result, the restaurant will need to process refunds directly in-store, either through store credit or cash. Alternatively, they can issue a credit back to the guest's debit card directly from the POS system.
