Overview
This article provides a breakdown of the different user roles and the permissions (or "rights") that can be assigned to each. Use this as a reference when creating or customizing user roles to match the needs of the customer.

All Vendor Access
Allows the user access to all vendors, regardless of if the user is granted access by the vendor itself.
Manage Integrations (Limited)
Allows user to manage basic settings on POS, Loyalty, and Twilio integrations.
86 Menu Items
Allows the user to 86 items from the Bite Admin Portal, hiding items for the day, or indefinitely. Prerequisites: View Menu Library
Toggle Dining Options
Allows the user to disable and enable dining options for a location. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Create and manage order throttling rules
Allows the user to change rules surrounding order throttling for a location. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Customers
Allows the user to manage customers on the organization level.Reset passwords and disable customers. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Web Settings
Allows the user to manage web settings on the organization level. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Catering Settings
Allows the user to manage catering settings on the organization level. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
View Activities
Allows user to view activities on the organization and location levels. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
View Menu Library
Allows the user to view existing menu items, menu sections, modifiers, and modifier group.
Generate Reports
Allows the user to generate sales reports for the locations they have access to.
Create and Manage Users
Allows the user to create new users. A user can manage (update, delete) other subordinate users. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Bite Lift
Allows users to manage bite lift. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Brand Color and Logo
Allows the user to manage the brand's color, logo and loyalty logo. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Third Party Privacy Policy
Allows the user to manage the 3rd-party privacy policy HTML and links. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Refund Orders
Allows the user to search and refund orders, in the Bite Admin Portal or on the kiosk. Prerequisites: View Orders
Manage Menu
Allows the user to log into the Bite Admin Portal and fully control the menus at the location, force a manual POS sync, and control Day Parts.Users with this right can edit the Menu Items, Menu Sections, Modifier Groups, Modifiers.Users with this right can also create, delete, and edit menus and assign dining options to the menus. Prerequisites: 86 Menu Items
Manage Menu Covers
Allows the user to manage menu covers. Prerequisites: View Menu Library- All Vendor Access
Manage Other Users' Changesets
Allows the user to manage changesets created by other users.
Control Kiosk
Allows the user to restart kiosk app or device (Elo or iOS), turn kiosks on or off, and change the closed screen copy. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Manage Discounts
Allows the user to manage discounts. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Can Show Flash Closed Screen
Allows user to toggle the closed screen for flash menus. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Delete Customers
Allows the user to delete customers on the organization level. Prerequisites: Manage Customers
Manage Channel Settings
Allows the user to manage most settings in the Kiosk Settings, Flash Settings, Common Settings, Receipt Settings, SMS Settings, and Order Lead Times tabs Prerequisites: Toggle Dining Options
Magic Copy
Allows the user to magic copy optional data from this location to another location. This includes precision copying the details of a menu item from one location to another. Prerequisites: Admin
Create Sites and Channels
Allows the user to create and update sites and channels Prerequisites: Admin
Manage Integrations (Full)
Allows the user to create, update, and delete integrations, as well as run integration tasks. Prerequisites: Admin
Verify Alcohol Purchases
Allows the user to use their access code on kiosks to allow guests to order alcohol, if that functionality is set up.
View Orders
Allows the user to view and search for orders. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Edit Menu Appearance
Allows the user to change the menu appearance. Prerequisites: All Vendor Access
Admin
Special Right that makes users with this role an administrator. Admins can edit and delete other users, and can manage the Roles and Location Groups in the Org.Admins can also create other Admins by creating users with the Admin Role or granting the Admin Right to other Roles. View System Logs
Allows the user to view the system logs. Prerequisites: Admin
Manage Supported Languages
Allows the user to manage Supported Languages under the Kiosk Settings tab. Prerequisites: Admin
Manage Kiosks
Allows the user to create, update, and delete kiosks, as well as run kiosk tasks. Prerequisites: Admin
Manage Common Settings
Allows the user to manage the common settings of a channel. Prerequisites: Admin
