Overview
This document outlines the configuration options related to receipt printing for modifier items within the Bite platform. These settings determine what information appears on customer receipts and are useful for customizing receipt output based on operational or guest communication preferences. Each setting is toggle-able and impacts how modifier selections—default, zero-dollar, or deselected—are represented on printed receipts. Additionally, there is an option for including raw transaction data from the processor.
What Shows on the Receipt?
These settings control what appears on the receipt when a customer places an order. Here's what each option does:
Print Default Mods:
Mods that are selected by default, and remain selected (not deselected), are printed on the receipt.
Print Zero Dollar Mods:
If a mod does not have a price associated to it, and it's either selected by default or manually selected, print that mod on the receipt.
Print Deselected Mods:
Mods that are selected by default, and are deselected , will be printed on the receipt with the word "No" in front of it.
Print Transaction Receipt Text:
Prints a bunch of gobbledegook that Bite receives from the processor at the bottom of the receipt.
