Bite supports proactive email notifications to keep your team informed of kiosk and device issues as they happen, or through a consolidated daily summary. Alerts can be configured for all live locations or for specific locations, and recipients can be customized per account.
Each alert email includes the affected location, the type of issue detected, and enough detail for your team to take action quickly. The daily summary is available for teams that prefer a consolidated overview instead of real-time emails.
Available alert types include:
- Kiosk offline or unavailable – The kiosk has lost network connectivity or stopped responding.
- POS connection issues – Communication between the kiosk and the POS system has been interrupted.
- Payment device issues – A problem has been detected with the pin pad or payment terminal.
- Printer issues – Includes printer failure, low paper warnings, or disconnected printer alerts.
